Anyone with a brain. First, no one can foretell the future. Second, prophecy in general is so vague that it can be interpreted to mean anything the reader wants it to. People have been saying that biblical and historical prophecies were coming true in their lifetimes ever since the things were written down. Each generation believes that the prophecies were intended for them when they are really just the jumbled ravings of madmen.

Because he didn't direct anyone to change their lives. Nostradamus was a predictor, not a prophet. In order to be a prophet, you have to point out a problem, propose a solution and predict the consequences if the prophcy is ignored. Supposedly God should be involved too. (And of course, the successful prophets are never heard of because the disaster is averted.) Nostradamus arranged pretty, nebulous words in orderly quattrains but he didn't have prophet guts.

You can't prove I'm not a prophet either.
The problem with the Nostradamus material is that it's only useful to "predict" events AFTER they occur.

The onus is always on the proposer (you) to prove his proposition.
