im 16 and i have this habit of eating really healthy when my freinds want to eat out i say i rather make my own food or i just grab some freis because of the carbohydrates within them (which is for basketball) am i weird? should i have fun and enjoy my eating while im young? i mean occasionaly i eat pizza or chips but mostly my menu is healthy foods only? am i werid?

It's unusual but not weird, most teens have horrible diets. IMO, it's weird to not eat healthy - why would people wanna eat junk all day long and pollute their bodies? Anyway, it's great that you eat healthy and no, you're not too young. Good habits now reflect later in life, believe me. Occasional "cheating" is ok, maybe healthy in a way so we don't feel the need to overindulge.

You're not weird. My diet was very healthy as a teenager because I was a swimmer and I wanted to be the best I could be, and because I wanted the opposite sex to find me attractive. It's good that you care about what you put into your body, it'll help you stay healthy for the rest of your life. Trust me, your friends who eat junk all the time and still stay in shape won't be able to do that forever.

na thats a good thing... and there are good carbs and bad carbs the ones from fries compared to that of white rice not to mention the saturated fat in the fries.
I think teens these days probably are more diet wary than when i was in school
