What would I call a piece of artwork such as a painting that is not the "real thing" but is legal?

If it is a COPY that is NOT authorized by the painters estate but out of copyright then it would be just an “Artists Interpretation.”

If it IS authorized then it would be a “Authorized Reproduction”…

If the copy was from the original artist it would be an “Original.”
