I would look into it a little further. You can be involved with your boyfriend if he's way down the line im cousins, like 8th cousin, or 9th and so forth. I know a few couples like that who have kids and everything is ok. Most people if they don't know your related, don't tell them if you are very distant cousins. Not a big deal

It all depends on just how closely related you are; aunts, uncles, first cousins, that kind of relation no way, but if you look at history their are several second cousins that have married and had families. The best example I can think of is Franklin D. Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor they were second cousins.

Everybody is related! A question of how close. Albert Einstein dumped his first wife to marry a cousin. It was common back then for 2nd cousins to marry (Egyptian Pharohs married their sisters). Anyway. Birth control is a must. If it gets more serious you may want to consult a genetic counselor before you get married.

I think it's inevitable that you're going to have to look into it. I mean, you obviously aren't going to be able to continue on with him without this nagging at you from the back of your mind. It's something that is naturally a need to know for peace of mind kind of thing. Just don't blow things out of proportion for good or bad, because until you do know for sure, right now all you have is speculation.
I would suggest to proceed with caution, and don't trade in love for suspicion.

Definately look into it. It's better to find out sooner than later. And if you're not related, then you won't have that worry in the back of your mind! And if you are related, well, you can end the relationship before it goes any further.

I think it does not matter at all. If you are curious to know you can find it out, but it really doesnot matter. As people marry to their Uncle's daughter and vice-versa. So in your case you are not sure about whether your boyfriend is your cousin or not.
I hope this answer will make you relaxed.

try making a simple family tree. You need to find out how closely related you are. In most states first cousins may not marry.

If you are more distantly related it may be fine .

I think you should look into it. Now that you know that you might possibly be cousins, it will always bother you (at least that's what happens to me). Anyway, it would be a good idea to find out, you know? Once you find out, you don't have to worry about it anymore.

That's just my opinion.

sex is something you want to do with someone you want. i'd wait till marriage. once you've morals, keep on with them. you are able to tell him the way you sense, and if he would not comprehend, possibly he's not acceptable for you, yet when he listens and remains with you, you comprehend he quite cares for you. you are able to do different issues beside sex, if that permits in any respect. If waiting till marriage is quite THAT significant to you, do not allow it slip away because you've a boyfriend. refer to him first nonetheless, and word how he's taking it.
