Don't even worry about it. I've gotten thumbs down for giving a correct answer (not an opinion) for a question that had no other possible answer. I used to think "whatttttt?????" but now I know there are just power hungry people here who like to click the thumbs down because "they can."

I hate the thumbs down too...I only use them when someone is being abusive, racist, rude or obnoxious. Do not take offence to them, some people just thumbs down anyone or any answer that isn't in tune with what they believe, childish and narrowminded I would say. They should be reserved for abusive answers only but that is my opinion.
