What is the best product for making a male's pompadour?

I'm really into the whole rockabilly scene and I like the style I have used many many products trying to get the pompadour. I've used murray's pomade well tons of pomades, and tons of spray gel, but none of them are very good. So I have blonde thick hair what would be the best product to use on my hair. Also where can I buy Brylkeen.

Any type of hair wax or pomade. You can buy either pretty much at any beauty supply or hair salon.
