We are looking at a home in TN, We live in NV, All I have to work with is a picture. In the picture, the space for the fridge is 2 1/2 inchs (I really love my fridge) Anyways my fridge is 2 feet wide. Is there a way to figure out if it would fit, by converting inches to feet or feet to inches?

12 inches equals 1 foot, 24 inches = 2 feet, etc. but if the space is 2.5 inches wide and the fridge is 2 feet (or 24 inches) i dont think it will work.

As a standard, the space for a fridge is usually 36" wide, a stove is 30" and a dishwasher is 24". How ever that being said custom building throws all the standards out and you will have to ask. Just a guess, but 24" wide for a fridge is rather small so it will probably fit ok.

I think you are referring to scale. in 1/4 scale, 1/4 inch equals 1 foot.
So, you need to determine the scale of the drawing. It is a drawing of the house, I assume. It may not be in a specific scale, so, you need to find something that is always the same. Exterior doorways are standard at 3 feet, or 36 inches. So, if the fridge is 2/3s of that, there you go. Hope that helps.

Are you serious? 12 inches are in 1 foot, so just multiply the inches by 12 or divide the foot by 12. It's NOT THAT HARD.

But since you're looking at a picture, then you need a LOT of variables, such as dimension width between the camera lens and the fridge. Just tell someone to measure it.

Obviously the picture is not to precise scale, assuming the picture is not a drawing?. Why not visit the new house with a ruler and check for yourself? Or simplyu ring the realtor for the space dimensions.

Without a sense of scale, it's not possible. Call the realtor and ask for a measurement of the space.
