Linda,
God created this earth so that humans could enjoy living on it forever. He wanted the earth always to be inhabited by righteous, happy people. Psalm 115:16; Isaiah 45:18
The earth will never be destroyed; it will last forever.—
Psalm 04:5; Ecclesiastes 1:4.
Before God made man, He chose one small part of the earth and made it into a beautiful paradise. He called it the garden of Eden. It was here that he put the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. God purposed for them to have children and fill the whole earth. Gradually they would have made the entire earth into a paradise.—Genesis 1:28; 2:8, 15.
Adam and Eve sinned by deliberately breaking God's law. So God put them out of the garden of Eden. Paradise was lost. (Genesis 3:1-6, 23) But God has not forgotten his purpose for this earth. He promises to make it into a paradise, where humans will live forever. How will he do this?—Psalm 37:29.
Before this earth can become a paradise, wicked people must be removed. (Psalm 37:38) This will happen at Armageddon, which is God's war to end wickedness. Next, Satan will be imprisoned for 1,000 years. This means that no wicked ones will be left to spoil the earth. Only God's people will survive.—Revelation 16:14, 16; 20:1-3.

I think we are here to learn to live together in peace and love. Be understanding of people and the things they do, usually people do things for reasons, if you can figure out the reasons, like they are just having a bad day, they have been taught wrong things, they are hurting inside. When someone hurts your feelings, think of these things, and be understanding. Never hurt anyone, at least not knowingly.Be a good person, love everyone, realize how beautiful this world is,God gave us so much here.So much beauty, take care of it and try to teach others this.Find out what you can do to make the world a better place. Oh and kiddo?- try to stay away from adults in chat rooms and places like this. Keep safe.Take care

I just can't bring myself to make a cynical reply to someone this sincere and young.
I'm not sure why we're here....but I think that finding personal satisfaction, and helping the community around us....plays a role in it. At least for me. My goals are to have children I can be proud of, a wife that I love, and loyal friends that I can spend the limited time I have with. That's what I feel like I'm here for.
I think everyone finds their own answer to this. Good luck in finding your's.

We are here on this earth to fulfill a special purpose - - - the purpose for which God created us for. Some of us eventually come to realize just what that purpose might have been, and sometimes only God knows for sure. We just put our faith and trust in Him to use us to help others as we go along in life. Knowing that we have that divine purpose gives us hope.

Well your great, great, great, great, great, x1000 great, granddaddy's space ship crashed here. His name was Adam. And God came along and make Eve after Lilith fixed the ship and went home to her mother. Long story... anyway. We are here to enjoy life and help others to enjoy life and to become all that we have the capacity to be. In this way we glorify God. If you are a Christian, you are to grow into the image of Christ. Be more and more like him with each passing day. So that (as Mother Teresa said) when people see you, they see only Jesus.
Peace.

God created us so that we will know him, love him and be happy with him in the next life. Let me explain it this way. If God gave you a car you would want to "show off" and share that car with your friends right? It's basically the same thing. God has some very nice things to show and share with us in the next life.Just be good and try to be the best you can be. That will make him happy enough to share his nice toys with you.
Peace and every blessing!

You are here for one reason... to decide what you want to do with this life. Don't let anyone fool you... you are the decider. Why do you think you are here?
Life can be confusing... explore, gather information... make your own decision about what YOUR life is about.

People will tell you different things. My opinion is that there's no single purpose for everyone; you create your own. Find things you like to do and do them. Find areas you're interested in, and explore them. Just live. That's all there is to it.
