I was searching for people to add to my web page, and I typed in this guy's email address where the box said "search" to see if he too had a web page. Well I've know this guy for awhile, we actually had a casual relationship for over a year until he moved back to his home state. He said he wanted to keep in touch, which he did a few times, but I've initiated more than he has. Anyway, I hadn't heard from him in awhile, so I decided to see if he had a personaly page like I did. Well...the bad part of this is that he doesn't know I know of his yahoo address...when he left he gave me his work email address so I've been using that address to email him. I found that he had a yahoo address through another source. Anyway, I didn't notice that when I typed in that email address it said "invite" instead of search!! And now he probably realizes that I know his yahoo address!! How do I recover from this?!!

You little cyberstalker...you just act like you had it all along. Like it was in a group email from someone else or he sent you something from it in the past. What's the big secret, anyway? Whatever you do, don't explain anything. Don't act guilty. If he asks you don't have any idea where you got it. He won't ask though.

if he ever asks just say that he must have sent you an email from there once because that's the one you found in your email.
