I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am 17, and I currentley like this one girl. Unfortunatley there is another guy "Mike". He has a girlfriend, but still calls the girl I like "Jill". "Jill" says we would date if she still didn't like "Mike". "Mike" used to like "Jill" and she didn't realize that she liked him until he got his current girlfriend. "Mike" currently goes to a different school where I have many friends. I have found out and confirmed many times that he is a stoner. "Jill" is very religous and I know she doesn't approve of stuff like that. I don't believe that she knows. I want to know if you think I should tell her what I have found out. I am afraid she will think it is just somthing I'm saying to get me ahead, and it's just I don't want to see her get hurt. Please help, thanks for your input.

i would tell "Jill" what you found out about "Mike" and i would let "Mikes" gf know that he's still calling another girl. She might not like that so well and he may stop calling "Jill" and give you a chance. Give her time. If you 2 are meant to be together she will come to you. If it took her that long to realize she likes "Mike" it may take her awhile to notice she likes you. Maybe she needs time to get over her crush on him.

Nope. You can't tell Jill that Mike is a stoner because it will look like you are only telling her that because you are jealous of Mike. Jill may not believe you and she will not like you because of that.
Ask yourself this: Why do you want to be with a girl who would rather be with someone else? (someone who has a girlfriend on top of it)? You deserve someone who will put you first, unconditionally. So, my advice is to move on and find that girl. GO!

That's a tough one. But I think if she just "likes" him, it will look like you're just trying to get ahead if you tell her he's a stoner. I don't think it's really your place to tell her just yet. However, if she starts going out with him, then it may be a good idea to let her know- b/c then it becomes her business that her bf is on drugs. Does that make sense? But maybe if you can find a way to tip her off about him (for instance, maybe telling her best friend what you found out, but that you don't want to tell her yourself and look bad...). Cuz the truth is, stoners don't make good bf's. However, if she's interested in a guy who already has a gf, then maybe you should find a more deserving crush, because it sounds like she doesn't really respect the boundaries of relationships...

If you dated this girl, wont you ever wonder if she is thinking about *mike*?
I think your to good to be treated as a secondary *prize*, personally i would always wonder if the 8partner8 was thinking about someone else, im not an insecure person BUT starting a relationship knowing she likes someone else, that would make me slightly insecure.
As for him being a stoner, do what you think is best, she will either hate you for it, or love you for it. No One else can tell you exactly what to do. THINK of YOUR motives though.

If you want to protect her then you have to tell her the truth. Its just like in the show Smallville, Clark doesnt tell Lana about himself and she doesnt trust him. Do you want that to happen with you and "Jill"? If you care about her, tell her. Its the right thing to do. But, you also have to know that she would love you and put you first, no matter what if she liked you more than a friend and that may make her not believe it when you tell her. If I were you, I would tell her that you don't think he is right for her, and you don't want her to get hurt. That would show that you genuinely care for her. If she continues to go after him, just let her know that you will always be there if she needs someone.

find a way that she will see for herself that he is a "bad guy". my sis was religious and wound up with the wrong guy. stoner and all that..
