First off yes i know im a horrible person and i should burn in hell and so on...i get it.
Heres my question.
I am currently pursuing to get a career as a RN in California. I was wondering if having a juvenile sex offence(i was 11 years old, it was a misdemeanor, i am not a registered sex offender, it is my only offence in my entire criminal history, and i am in the process of sealing it,) would cause my STATE application to be rejected. I will be sending the application after my record is sealed but i assume that the FBI does the check so sealing doesnt matter.

Flame me all you want in email or once someone has answer. There is no info on here leading back to me.Thanx to who ever actually answers.

Just about all states now require a criminal background check, if you resd one of those releases they check everything. The answer to your questions is YES they will find out about your offence. All states requiring a criminal background check will know and so will the people that work at the hospital that get this information and then word will spread from there.
There will be concerns if they find out you have a sealed record and this will also hinder you becoming an RN in alot of states.

As an RN, the BLS (CPR for Healthcare Providers) from the American Heart Association should be kept current at all times since most employers and hospitals consider it mandatory. It does have to be renewed every 2 years. As far as the IV Therapy does, a RN is certified during their education and does not expire. However, many employers and hospitals consider the time actually spent on both IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal to be insufficient during a RN's education and therefore require an additional Certificate of Completion in IV/BW. Providers like Genesis Medical Education Consultants provide a 2 day course to RNs 2-3 times per month, and allow any student to retake this class at a later date to keep knowledge and techniques current, at no additional cost.

They probably will find out some how, but I am not sure. I had to have a finger print and back ground check to get my license for
pharmacy technician in California. It did take awhile so don't worry about that part they are slow. I know they check everything
about you in the back ground check, but since you were only 11, your records should have been sealed at 16.
Good Luck ...

WHAT IN THE WORLD DID YOU DO AT THE AGE OF 11? I HOPE YOU AREN'T OUT TO DO IT AGAIN! I DON'T THINK THEY WILL FIND OUT BUT MY GOODNESS ARE YOU GOING TO BE ABLE TO CONTAIN YOURSELF NOT TO HURT ANYONE ELSE? AND if YOU HURT SOMEONE WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE FIELD TO HELP AND SERVE THE ILL? I THINK MAYBE YOU SHOULD REALLY THINK THIS OUT BECAUSE WHEN A PERSON IS HARMED SEXUALLY THERE LIFE IS SCREWED UP FOREVER, SO FOR GODS SAKE HOW OR WHY CAN YOU FEEL THIS IS A FIELD THAT YOU DESERVE TO BE IN. i JUST HOPE YOUR SAFE BECAUSE I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE WHAT HARM SEX OFFENDERS CAUSE AND I CAN'T REALLY SAY THAT IF IT HAPPENED TO ONE OF MY CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN WHAT I WOULD DO TO THE OFFENDER AND THAT'S THE HONEST TRUTH! LEGAL OR NOT. I WOULDN'T CARE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!
