Music does not have any text embedded into it, so you would get nothing but gibberish out of your converted files.
If you're looking for the lyrics, why not just do a search for lyrics?

The two types of files contain totally different information...
.wav files are for sound/music
.txt files are for text or words and are not intended to carry complex musical information.

dragon's "naturally speaking. its a speech to text program that allows you to import audio files. i have this nifty voice recorder that i use to dictate things and then have my computer type them for me later. its a bit expensive though
