people get fat because maybe they are fraustrated about how they or because they dont care how they look.If you see the news they talk about losing weigh. In fast food restaurants like mcdonalds and other fast food.And most of the restaurant have agreed to stop having food with alot of calories.Sometimes you might see pills in the commercial and they always say see your doctor .Sometimes fast food restaurants like subway start saying that only five sandwich could only make has much as calories in only one of mcdonalds sandwich such as a quater pounder with cheese.Maybe is because they are hungry .

There are a LOT of reasons people gain weight and get fat...

Some people live a healthy life and are very active and eat a lot and don't gain weight.. then they get hurt and cannot be as active but it is hard to eat less so they gain weight...

Some people's body's just go haywire and have hormonal imbalances or other chemical problems and they seem to gain weight no matter what they do (you can't stop eating totally)...

Some people can eat and always be hungry because of medical problems so they over eat and gain weight...

some people eat from boredom, stress, and other mental problems and gain weight...

And then there is age.. when you get older your metabolism slows down and you don't need to eat as much to maintain your weight.. combine that with lower activity and you gain weight.

Not only calories important but also where they come from. Never seen somebody who eats only apples or stuff like these even really a lot get fat. And its better not to listen what they talk in all these restaurants about calories, want burger - eat pack of carrots. Who want to stay slim will not get fat, if they are fat - they didn't want to stay slim. (of course if it is not medical condition, there are some that u can't really do anything not to gain weigh)

Well, eating a simple excess of 100 calories a day can cause gradual weight gain. It may not seem like a lot, but that's just an apple.

some people just eat too much and do not excersice. they eat more calories then they burn so they get fat. others have hormone problems. if you have low thyroid output you can gain wieght.

because they consume more calories than they metabolize (burn off) .Very simple. And very hard to do, especially as we age.

food, thyroid problems, heredity, hormonla imbalences, medical issues. unless you are just trying to be an ***, then mind your own business let them live life....or not.
