Will it expand in her stomach, or what will happen?

It shouldn't harm her if she only ate a small amount. There is no reason for it to expand, the digestive acids in her stomach should break it down quickly. Don't worry, your dog will be fine. But now you know not to leave anywhere that she can get ahold of it right?

They showed a high school kid on the news a couple years ago who ate some bread dough, and his stomach was really pooched out. He was at the doctors office in severe pain.

LOL!! Poor doggie!!

She might get a little gassy, but I think the acids in her stomach ought to neutralize any of the yeast in the dough. I just think she might have a tummy ache from eating so much! You'd at least think she'd have waited for you to bake it! So impatient, these little critters!

She should be fine, don't worry! lol

That was a good one!! I enjoyed that! :-)

A dog's digestive tract is among one of nature's true grit scenarios--- dogs can and do survive on stuff that would slap drop you and I to our knees !!
The one major thing to keep away from dogs is chocolate because there is an enzime within chocolate that has a very peculiar reaction to a particular acid within a dogs stomach that creates a type of poison---enough of it and it will kill a dog !!

Unless your dog has consumed a major portion of this stuff and it had rising powder in it to the extreme---they're going to be just fine !!!

If it contained yeast, you need to make her vomit or see a vet as soon as possible. Not only can it expand in their stomach and cause problems, it also goes through a fermentation process that puts out gases that are toxic. Symptoms of that include incoordination (looks drunk), stupor and seizures. If she got a large amount I would call your local ER vet right away.

She should be fine, she may get a tummy ache though. Keep the carpet cleaner spray handy just in case.
