For Windows XP

For this demonstration, ensure that you are connected to the Internet.

Then Double click on the Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop until it opens a Web Page.

After the Web Page loads, press the Print Screen (Prnt Scrn) button on your keyboard.

Windows will send the entire contents of your Web Page to the Clipboard in graphic format.

Now open up the Windows Paint Program by first clicking on your Start Button.

Then move your mouse over the All Programs icon to display all Start Menu folders.

If your Start Menu is set to the Classic View, move your mouse over the Programs folder instead.

Now, move your mouse onto the Accessories menu folder until it expands.

Now click on the Paint icon to launch the Microsoft Paint Program.

Then click on the word Edit, which is contained in your top tool bar area.

This will pull down a menu for you to now click on Paste.

Notice how Windows pastes the entire contents of your Web Page into the Paint program.

And all the tools of the Paint Program are available to reduce, enlarge and Print the contents.

To Print, click on the word File, which is contained in your top tool bar area.

This will pull down a menu for you to now click on Print.

yes, you can use [prt sc] key, to just catch the active window use ALT + PRT SC. to get to paint quick, go to START>RUN... and type PBRUSH

If you use it alot though, you might prefer using a screen capture utility. Irfanview ( www.irfanview.com ) allows you to set up your own hotkeys or capture automatically after a delay you decide. download it, open it, press C and up comes the options. Irfanview is great for more than just screen captures, try it out, and it's free best of all. I'm not afilliated with the company, I'm just happy with the product.

For more fun, check out FRAPS ( www.fraps.com ) for video capture.

To get a screen-capture, press ALT+PRNT SCRN simultaneously. Then, go to whatever program you would like to use (i.e. powerpoint) and paste (right click, select paste) onto the application. You can then save it as an image, word doc, ppt presentation, etc. On many laptops, you may have to press additonal keys to get to the PRNT SCRN function as it is often a secondary key assignment (for example, you may have to press "Fn").

Hope that helps.

the different solutions are loopy. sounds like the logical element to do is to ascertain out the Flash plug-in on your browser, because it quite is the filetype causing complications??? do not reinstall a diverse OS because of video playback complications? attempt uninstalling the flash plugin, or updating it. As continuously, makes certain you've all of your IE and Firefox (whichever) updates complete. They do help
