I do not want any fancy study guides, just a plain Bible. Where should I go?

Even your local Dollar Store will have Bibles and they are nice Bibles. I agree with one of the above posts though. Don't get one from Jehovah's Witness or a Catholic Bible for that matter. Both have changed the Bible to fit their own belief systems. A good King James Version or The Living Bible are good versions. The Living Bible is easier to understand.

Any book store would carry a Bible. But depending on which translation you want, you may want to go to a Bible Bookstore, they will be able to answer some questions for you and help you find what you're looking for.

Any bookstore would have a Bible,or a Christian bookstore,or a local church would give one if you asked.
Do not get a Jehovah's Witnesses Bible (New World Translation),they changed the text to fit their own theology.

If you're Catholic, buy a New American Bible. You can get them at any bookstore and online.
