Frequent sex doesn't make you less smart, but here goes what happens-

You have less mental energy for ideas coming to your mind. With abstinence the energy concentrates a lot on the crown of the head, and you feel also more inspired.

If you're in the doubt of going into more abstinence practices, and want to take that decision for yourself, I would say go do it. Medical proffesionals and so many in the world have overstated the importance of practising and performing well sexually, overemphasizing its importance, and leaving some people addicted to it.

Of course a sexual exchange with a loved one is desirable and beautiful, but looking for sex looking for pleasure and gratification or evading things is a road too many travel. Not for good.

So, my best advice. For many it can be tough to do it, but if you're in the crossroad, I say, go for it man, it will enhance your thinking andd feeling experience. Not smarter, but more inspired and receiving a new flow of ideas.

And you believe George Costanza??

Abstinence does not make people smarter. Smart people are more likely to be abstinent though.

and George knows all, doesn't he?? lol Well, the fact is that there are studies that show that abstinence (sometimes called "temperance") when combined with other life disciplines-- nutrition, exercise, sunshine, fresh air, a spiritual connection-- truly increases one's optimal health and well-being.

All the best!

It really depends on the person you can either have more concentration, willpower, and pride, or nothing can happen. The person decides how they react to abstinence.

it does...it makes you more focused...it's a whole mental lifestyle though...you have to accept the possibility of NO sex and then you will see the transformation.
