The doctors explain how to put your contact lenses on and how to take them off and so on... How I put my contact lenses on is completely different. Maybe it's the way they showed you and your fingers just don't cooperate that way.

It's hard! Most of it has to do with the way our brain is wired, for some of us our hands can do different things, for others the hands have to be synchronized to do certain tasks.

Keep on trying different ways on putting your contact lenses in your eyes aside from how the doctors told you. How I do it:

I make sure my lenses are right side out, so it looks more like a bowl than a saucer. I use my left hand's ring finger to prop up my eye lid, and my right hand's ring finger to pull down the bottom of my eye. The eye ball is totally exposed and I use my right hand's middle finger to put my contact in. You have both your hand's coordinating at the same time, doing similar things. This way, it's not like tapping-your-head-and-rubbing- you r-stomach difficult.
The doctors tell you to open your eye with one hand and insert the contact with the other, I found that totally hard...again it all goes back to how our brains are wired.

So find your own way, it gets easier with practice. You'll find it's SOOO much more convenient to have contact lenses. Give them a try!

tell her now, tell her you cannot figure how to put them on or take them out, tell her to cancel the order now, so she does not have to pay. just say the truth to her now. If she has already paid, tell her to ask about the return policy, if you never get the product chances are she can return them, all she has to say that your vision has changed and you want to cancel it before the order arrives. Ask the doctor to cancel the order, too. the doctor can do it, too with your moms permission.

Since you made a fuss about the conteacts, accept them, and pay your mom back at a later date. Keep the contacts as they may come in handy sometime.

I wish I could afford them.
Then I could wear the latest in sunglasses. Your a really lucky person. Wear them and enjoy them. I wish I could.
They really have some awesome sunglasses out there. In different colors and shapes everything to match your outfits.
Count yourself lucky, some people can't even wear them.

Tell her that you didn't learn. You need to go back to the eye doctor and practice until you get it. Let me tell you that I've been wearing them for years and I am so glad. You will be, too.

They're not that hard. Have you ever touched your eye with your fingertip? Try. If you don't blink, you're fine. Cuz they don't touch your eyes. They float on your tears.

That's not such a big problem, really. Either wear them or reimburse her.

tell her you appreciate them very much, and that you will wear them, (and you should) but tell her not to get them anymore. im sure she will be a whole lot less likely to be mad after that.
