For a while I was nervous cause it felt like one of my front teeth moved slightly when my tongue pushed it but it doesn't feel that way anymore. I'm kinda happy that happened because it made me go to the dentist for the first time a couple years and i've taken better care of my teeth ever since I went to the dentist last month. However, i'm a very paranois person so I worry about losing my teeth anyway. He took x-rays and looked at my teeth and didn't find anything seriously wrong. He just said my gums were inflamed but would go back to normal if I take better care of them. For a while I thought i had periodontitis which may cause tooth loss, but he would have said if I had any bone loss under my gums right? I'm only 17, so if I take care of my teeth better than I used and go to the dentist every 6 months I should't lose any teeth right?

If you had periodontal disease the Dentist would have told you...I doubt it cuz ur so young but it is possible....Just make sure you brush and floss everyday! The lack of flossing is what causes periodontal disease!

You will be fine if you do what the dentist suggests. Floss every day to toughen up your gums and brush your gums when you brush your teeth. Use a soft toothbrush. Your gums should be healthy and pink. Also rinse your mouth with Listerine to help get rid of plaque.

I don't know for sure since I don't know your dentist but you could try taking omega 3-6-9 and see if it helps. It can't hurt. Flossing is also excellent and use a good mouthwash but one that doesn't have alchohol.

IF YOUR DENTIST HAD TOLD YOU THAT YOU DID NOT HAVE BONE LOSS AND THUS PERIODONTAL DISEASE, THEN I WOULD NOT WORRY. JUST KEEP TAKING CARE OF YOUR TEETH, AND THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.
