Well they are definetly quieter then say... the freeway.

But they are full of sounds, the calls of animals and birds, the wind, and possibly other things.

The temperate forests I have been in are mostly quiet. The tropical forests are pretty noisy especially at night when birds and frogs are calling.

most jungles are uninhabited by man...but that doesn't mean it's silent... there are animals, insects and other creatures in the jungle... not only that, but a running stream most likely in a jungle creates sound, the swaying of tree branches... etc. create sound...

Hi. Only if a tree falls. Actually most of these environments have wildlife and insect noises.

i don't think so...there's lots of animals such as birds, monkey, insects that continuously make noise.
