I pay about $65 for solid color and $95 for highlights. If I get a cut, add $55 to that. And I tip $25 (twenty to the stylist, five to the shampoo person).

Prices vary from average price salons to upscale salons and spas...but where I work as a stylist it is $55-$65 for an all over base color...or $45-$85 for highlights....either of those processes can be a single application only... or in the same visit you can also have both color and highlights done which usually is $55-$65 for the base color and maybe a partial highlight which is highlights that are just to accent around the face and sides. After the base color is applied and achieved combined with the partial highlight cost....it would cost around $95. But, you are more apt to be pleased with the results with a licensed professional choosing the shade and applying it to your hair !!!! Cut and styling afterwards would be $25-$28 in additions to the coloring, plus tip to the stylist!
Good Luck...it's fun making a change from time to time....
KEEP THIS IN MIND......"IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU GO AS FAR AS UPSCALE OR MORE SMALLTIME...IT MATTERS WHO DOES YOUR HAIR".....and their experience in doing coloring......find a friend or someone in passing ad just note their hair color results and ask them where their stylist works.....and go to them....no matter the price... There are some wonderful master ad senior that do excellent work in some of the more upscale salons/spas and then there are in the same salon stylists who are just as licensed that should have never received their state board license...and cannot do hair worth ------ and then some of the worst hairstylists who work in your more average salons, but on the other hand some of the most artistic stylists can be found there too.....trust me ...I've been in the business for 14 years. A good tip is to get a referral of a salon or particular stylist from someone who's hair you think looks great.

It varies widely with the area and kind of salon. Single process can be around $40 and up. Highlighting is usually $80 and up. Highlighting and coloring can be done many ways that can change the price. Check online for a salon in your area/call a salon. Most have a consultation process where they will give you an estimate for free.

Depends on the salon you go to. Some high end salons starting price for an all over single process color "start at $55" and highlights "start at $75", when they state "start" the price can increase depending on the amount and length of hair you have.
I used to get highlights years ago. I have blackish brown hair and used to get it lightened to have caramel/maple highlights on my crown then deeper highlights below that. At the time my hair used to be about shoulder length and I have thick hair. I paid about $120 to have them done initially, then about $80-$95 for maintenance of the outgrowth every few months or so.
I eventually stopped having them done because I got tired of the upkeep. So my hair is now just all one color again.
HTH.

It really depends on what salon you go to...but I got mine done just yesterday for $75 but i also had a cut and style, and my stylist had to double foil because she was doing two different color highlights. So probably about $55-60-ish. Hope that helps!

Curl up and Dye in simple terms kidding, that became from the Blues Brothers action picture. i've got observed maximum salons are the two fairly uninteresting, like, "Mary's elegance Salon", or they have extremely clever names, like Mane journey, Waxes and Waves, reducing part, or Shear Seduction. i might flow with some thing that sounds greater severe-end...a one notice call that exudes attractiveness and class. Oh, how approximately Sophisti-Cuts? I dunno, in simple terms approximately something could be labored right into a attractiveness for a salon in case you attempt annoying sufficient!
