want soft curls, but straightens hair....?

Question

my hair is trouble from the start....i straighten my hair everyday cause thats the easiest way to keep my hair tame nd capable....i want to hav soft curls that wud stay curled long, but dont kno how. can u giv me tips on how to curl it nice. but not givin me tips like 'jus braid it'...lik tis pic of jessica biel...

try putting styling gel or mouse that is made for curly hair when it is damp, then dry it, and curl it with a 1" or larger curling iron. Spray with a light hairspray after curling. This what I do everyday. I have loose waves with curls at the bottom.
