Wait for a new address, it will take forever (maybe even never) to get forwarded.

If you have his old address I would recomend sending to that unless you have already recived a new one for the person in question the great thing about the military is that when you in any kind of basic / boot or inital training before they move you to their next training section / unit / and or place they make sure you fill out a forwarding address. Thou there is no gaurentee as to how long it will take for it to reach said person, as it ussally goes to where you send it then they forward it, through the unit mail distrobution point. Now once said individual is out of what ever training phase they are in and they become a part of the regular military they are on their own for forwarding their mail, but the military is ussally pretty good about making sure people fill out a forwarding address card.

Everyone gave good advice, but since he is a Marine DO NOT send any goodies... he will never get them and could possibly get forced to do extra extra extra push ups. Oh, send it through.. he'll get it.. the more you send the better he will feel, trust me, it's a tough time and the guy is going to need all the support he can get. Good luck!

It may take longer to get to the person-or if you know where he was moved to, a recruiter's station person might be able to help you. Otherwise, please wait till you get the new address from this guy. Military knows how important mail is to their servicemen, so they will get it there the best they can, as soon as they can. Take care.

do not deliver him something yet letters! And he receives all the paper he desires. in case you want to deliver extra you'll choose yo purchase sufficient for his platoon even as i'm boot camp. And be careful what you write him some letters may be examine by technique of his DI's and they'll tease him. in basic terms help him and write regularly..
