I am 14, and have been thinking about becoming a nutritionist/dietician since I am interested about health, but I was wondering if this is actually something I want to be, or if I am just a teen obsessed about food and calories. I know this is kind of stupid to ask because how are you suppose to know, but I was just wondering if there are any other girls out there who are like me.

You sound very intelligent and mature for 14-- wow, and self-aware. It is exciting to know that many people who skyrocket in their professions were similarly focused as you are as a very young person on what they want to do in their lives.... you will actually know better than anyone here if this is your life path, or just a trend as a teen, as you say.

All the best!

I think it's actually been shown that nutritionists / dieticians / fitness instructors have a higher rate of eating disorders than the general population.

It's good that you are asking this question. Educate yourself about the warning signs of eating disorders and monitor yourself closely. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't become a nutritionist, it just means that you should further examine your motivations.

God bless.

I care plenty approximately what's in what i devour. i attempt to devour ingredients with components that i will pronounce, if i will no longer be able to pronounce it or see it in a common pantry, i will no longer be able to devour it. i attempt to devour organic and organic and occasional in sodium and interior the middle with energy so no longer something over one hundred for snack and not something over 4 hundred for a meal. So what's the survey for in any case? basically thinking :)
