I know this guy for about a month now. We are kind of long distance friends. Lately we have been having long chats on the phone. He told me that he would give me a call today, but I haven't recieved call yet. I believe something must have came up suddenly or he just got busy. I was just wondering how long should I wait before I call him to see how he was doing?

Well give him a call, just to make sure everything is okay and make sure that he just forgot. When he says sorry, say its fine, we all forget things!! Good Luck and Happy Valentines Day!!

Go ahead and call him now. If it turns out that he did get caught up in something, then let him go right away and tell him you understand. But if he just forgot, you can make up an excuse like, "oh i just wanted to call because I was about to leave for the day, and I wouldn't have another chance to talk to you." In that way, you'd have some sort of a reason for you calling instead of him.
