Who claims God is silent? Many hear His voice... they come unto Him. On the other hand, many don't hear His voice, therefore they think He doesn't exist.
If you are a believer, you've heard His voice.
If you are a non believer, you have not recognized His voice and you turn away.

Well, God isn't "silent" for everybody, only to those who have no faith, and are spiritually dead.
The reason God doesn't micromanage our lives is because we have free will. We have the ability to do good things or bad things; that's totally up to us.
I honestly pity people who think their entire destiny was to become fertilizer after a few short years of a meaningless existence, but that's their choice.

God's silence is where I come for peace and joy . Because he is not in silence we are . We as people need to learn to be silent to hear him talk o us . But we can't because we know it all and we don't . FAITH in GOD is the key . Can you be silent and here God's call for your life?

To me God's silence says: Quit believing all those idiots who try to tell you what to think. I gave you life. Why do you waste it on hate and kill and use one another? Live your life. Do good things. Help each other.

His silence gives me a chance to think things through myself. I don't have another voice in the room telling me what I "should, could, and have" to do. I figure it out myself.

You sound really sincere in your asking of this question and I appreciate that. When God is silent, I stand still. I must remember that He works things out in His timing, not mine.

If I've prayed for direction, and God remains silent, I make no decision(s) to change things. Status quo until His will becomes clear, and often it will just because options become limited.

It usually means that I've not been doing the things I ought to be doing. Because, when I am doing what I ought to be doing, He speaks to me through the Holy Ghost.

for me or to me? Maybe he is out on the golf course again. He hates it when Moses wins. Sulks for hours, won't answer calls.. Just try another time.
