Try to breathe and remember the one time that you were extremely happy. Relive every second of it and then try to remember another time when things seemed to be going extremely well. As long as you die with kindness in your heart and a good thought in your brain, it shouldn't really matter what happens when you pass. No one knows for sure the truth.

It is a leap of faith, isn't it? But, then again, when you are in that position what else do you have except faith. I believe in God. I believe that Jesus existed but was merely a man. I believe the Bible has some good stories that shed some light on how we should act. There is always hope. In your situation it would be enough for me to have some hope no matter how much I might believe otherwise. Give it a shot, what have you got to lose?

Enjoy your last moments on earth in this finite life as best as you can. Right after your physical body ceases to function, the real you will find it's self in eternity. You will then find yourself in more terror, pain, affliction, and terror than you ever experienced in this finite world. Even if there is no literal lake of fire, which the Bible says that there is, the total separation from God will be a horrible existence for eternity. No parties, no dancing near the fires of hell, no buddies to enjoy being with to face the woes of eternity, just you, and absolutely nothing else. Nothing to feel, nothing to see, nothing to rest on, just you, and nothing else, all alone forever. That's if there is no real Hell, if there is, and I believe that there is, then it's all very much worse.

Well, in my case I believe my spirit will go on to be
part of the energy that makes up everything. What
I experienced in this life will becomes part of the greater
knowledge that makes up the Akashic Records.
I would not despair, I would reflect over the life given
me and rejoice for the time I had.

If you had despair then there would be hope for you, if you despair because you know that there is sin in your life. What keeps people from believing what the bible says is that they either hide their sin from themselves, deceiving themselves into thinking that there's no such thing as sin, or that if there is they don't have any; or they admit that they have sin but they're so hardened by it that they just don't care. Where do you fit in?

Well, if you are an atheist, that means that you believe death is the complete cessation of your existence, right? Whether you find that cause for despair is up to you. But if you're asking the question seriously, then it seems to me your spirit is already seeking God. I'll pray for you. God bless you.

Why would there be no hope for you? Are you a Christians who doesn't believe in the Bible or Jesus? I'm a Pagan and believe in something entirely different.
What are your BELIEFS? Deep down in your heart?

No one knows if there's a God or Gods or not. If you're on your deathbed, it's too late to repent & believe anyway. It doesn't work that way. You can't do whatever you want and then realize you've been an butthead in your life. Realize that stuff before it's too late and treat others with some respect.
No one can tell you if you're going to hell or if there's no hope for you. No one knows for sure. Just live your life the best you can and hope for the best. That's all you can do.

Do not despair, do not hope, but appreciate all the time you didn't spend at work. Somtimes the time of a lifetime comes to you in the span of one minute. Nobody knows what the big picture is like, but consider this. Life found a way to exist. Why is there something instead of nothing? Thou art God.

If you don't believe in any god, then you don't believe in any version of a heaven or an afterlife, so why would you have no hope?
What should you do? Stop wasting time thinking about what's gonna happen after you die, and start spending more time while you can with your family and friends.
