2 dozen eggs -- $3
3 loaves bread -- $2.50
1 pack hot dogs -- $2
Peanut butter -- $2
Frozen french fries -- $1.50
1 gal. milk -- $2.50
2 boxes mac and cheese -- $1.50
American cheese slices -- $2
Canned ham -- $7

Total: $19

I'm estimating a bit high, especially if you go to a store like Aldi's and can get some specials. If you have money left over, use it for canned fruits and veggies.

Meal options:

Scrambled eggs and toast
Egg salad sandwiches
Mac and cheese with hot dogs
Hot dogs and french fries
French toast
Grilled cheese sandwiches
Ham and eggs
Ham salad
Peanut butter sandwiches

This isn't a terrifically healthy diet, but it will get you through until pay day. Good luck!

Check and see what is on sale at your grocery store. I would pick up some Ramen just in case, but look for other soups. Cereal and bread and prepackaged lunch meat (or peanut butter) are other good bets. Probably will need to eat as little as possible this week to make it on $20.

I have done alto with 20 dollars especially if you have a Aldis in the area. Walmart is pretty good for low prices as well!!!! Good luck

Eggs and bread can go along way....and you can change it up with them. A box of pancacke mix wouldn't hurt, either

I was off work recently, and was needing to make things go a long way.

I didn't have pancake mix....but I had flour. I mixed some water and made my own pancackes. Not bad, but a little too fluffy. Good though.
