I think I'd go with a sandy color for the walls, white baseboards and trim, a turquoise that's a couple of shades lighter than the tile for the ceiling.

Get a fan deck from a paint store which will have pretty much all the colors you can imagine. Find the color in the deck that matches the turqoise in your tiles. Then all the colors going vertically from the turqoise in the deck will compliment and the colors horizontally will accent. If you have a theme for your bathroom that also helps.

The baseboards I would definately paint white! As for the walls? I've always loved shades of blues and yellows together! With turquoise I'd go with a light or real pale yellow- the color will stand out more with all your trim painted white. Remember to use a higher gloss paint in the bathroom! It's easier to wash and is more durable in damp rooms!

I would consider a decorating theme first before I invest in colors... You say turquoise, I think seashells, the ocean, etc... Look at magazines with photos of water, sand, shells and find a color palette in the same weight as the turquiose. Then decide which of them would look best about 3 shades lighter, and would compliment. I'm thinking a soft peach, or sandy beige... Look also for artwork, even at Walmart!, that may have some turquoise in it. That will help you "see" colors that look good with it....

Turquoise would nice. It would bring out the color in the tiles. Good Luck!!!!
