Well, let's see here. The religious people in power in this country won't allow there to be anything other than abstinence only programs that do not work. Then they don't want to make Plan B available or give out condoms to kids that are going to have sex no matter what. Many people's insurance doesn't cover birth control (it was a fight with mine and that's not even why I use it). See how many options there are before abortion? Its just that all the lawmakers in this country don't want to use them so they basically force people to have abortions.

I think that would increase abortions. Most teenagers would think that churches giving out condoms would make it ok to have sex. Even with protection, there is still that small chance that it wont work. Most teen pregnancys are aborted be cause the teens are overwhelmed.

IFthe people in the churches wereTRUE Christians then they would not need to pass out condoms as the parishioners would not have sex before marriage. Hence one of my favorite bumper stickers....If going to church makes you a Christian, does going to the garage make you a car?

Yeah, that is what I do. Every time I see a pregnant lady, I toss a few condoms at her belly. That way she wont have an abortion.

Any sex outside of marriage is wrong. Killing babies is wrong. If you make up your mind to have sex outside of a marriage use a condom, or birth control, or both. You'll still be wrong, but you won't be taking another's life. No churches should not distribute birth control. And God did not create sex exclusively for procreation, as another responder said. Paul wrote that husbands and wives should not deny one another. There is sinful about birth control being used in a marriage, but it still is not the church's role.
