The first thing that you should do is make sure that you have anemia. It's not a funny thing to mess around with, so if you feel like you have it, then go to the doctor and he/she will take your blood test. Depending on the amount of iron in your blood, the doctor will determine whether or not you have iron-deficiency anemia.
Speaking from personal experience, when I was anemic, I was constantly weak and I found it hard to do even the simple things, like go up one flight of stairs. I would always be out of breath and feel dizzy. One important thing that the doctor will advise you to do is take iron supplement pills. These are essential in getting you back on track. In terms of diet, you should eat iron-rich foods, such as meat and dark green vegetables. Trust me, it's not that bad.
Hope you get better!

Not treating it will cause it to become serious.
You need to get on top of this and find out why you are or how you came to be aneaemic and take steps to correct it.

Ferropro or iron tablets can be of help to you, as can the addition of Foliate. But you need to be seen by a physician to investigate the matter so that you can remain healthy. Anaemic people have pale skin and lips. The easiest test is to pull the lower eyelid down and check the degree of redness. If it is pale pink you are definitely anaemic. The problem with anaemia is that red blood cells are deficient and they are the transporters of oxygen essential for the nutrition growth and health of your body and organs. See a physician right away and get an investigation and medication to reverse this

If you're asking this question than you probably haven't been diagnosed through specific blood tests ordered by a doctor. You would have been told which type of anemia you have and what to do to correct it. See your doctor and don't try to self-diagnose.

Excessive bleeding for any reason, thyroid problems, not taking iron supplements or iron rich veggies. All these issues need medical advice.

Are you sure you are anemic? What are your symptoms? I just went through anemia and am just getting through recovery. We can email privately if you don't want to talk openly here.
