why did he make man curious and then tell him not to try the forbiden fruit? is it not like leaving a child in a room alone with a candy and expecting him not to try it. if you were god would you leave temptation infront of your children? why doesn't god just make us be born and stay in heaven with no chance of ever meeting evil?

God- the universe- great spirit, whatever label you give it, gave us free will because he-it loves us so much. It was man that told us that it was forbidden not god etc. Our understanding of what god wants has been given to us over thousands of years by the men that ran the churches-religions, if you could ( and we all can !) speak to God directly he-it would tell you that he gaves us all the wonderful things on this earth to enjoy. There was once a time when there were no police forces so who do you think controlled the people? it was the churches ! and the only way they could do that was to make us feel guilt and shame and tell us we were all sinners and that if we didn't do what they said we would go to hell - man's words , not God's !! You need to start searching for your own truth and stop believing everything you are told, and please don't even believe what i say, but go on a search for yourself. If you are truly interested in finding the truth the answers will come to you in unexpected ways. Good luck, an amazing adventure now awaits you !!

These are very good questions Joey. Let me help you out in understanding the answers. You will find my answers to make alot of sense. And when you do, feel free to email me with anymore questions that you may have about anything even life in general.
God created everything under the sun. Even the angel, Satan, which means Resister, or Opposer. However, He created Satan, with free will. As He did all of us! He did not know that the Devil would betray Him. He did not know Adam and Eve would betray Him. He created all of us out of an expression of love, His love. When Adam and Eve were perfect on the earth, they did not have signs on the trees saying, "do not litter", or "do not hurt one another". These things, we all know, are the difference between right and wrong. Its called a conscience and whether or not it is trained or not, depends on whether or not selfish decisions are made or not. About the fruit, there were lots of trees of the same kind of fruit, in the garden of Eden. They could have been just as satisfied eating from those other trees, which were no different. It was only until Satan, put it into the mind of Eve, that God was holding something back from her. He put doubt in her mind. He is the father of the lie, and that was his first lie. He told her she would not die. (now we have a popular teaching that the soul lives on forever, I wonder where that lie got started???) God promised her that she would, if she ate of that tree, that belonged to Him. She died, didnt she? So Satan is the liar. Not God. God made us to inhabit the earth, not the heavens. If He wanted more angels, He would just create more! Read in your Bible Psalm 115:16 and Isaiah 45:18. Think about it, according to God's promises, if Adam and Eve had never been disobedient, He told them, they would be fruitful and become many and to fill the earth and subdue it. If they had never been disobedient, according to His purpose for mankind, wouldn't they have lived forever, under perfect conditions in a paradise earth? Food for thought!

God wanted us to know the difference between good and evil. If we did not know what evil was or did not expereince darkness we could not truley understand what Light or Goodness is. And I guess that probably answers a couple of your questions above.

Honestly, I think God always meant for man to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. He had created the world outside of the garden for Adam and Eve to be banished into. He always intended them to live there. I know this may sound strange to what some say on here.

God did not create an angel that betrayed him. This is a myth. The Devil is not a "fallen angel" There is no biblical support for this rather common teaching.

The living entity is the fragmental part and parcel of the Supreme Lord—eternally.
As fragmental parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord, the living entities also have fragmental portions of His qualities, of which independence is one.
God is great we are small. He is infallible we are fallible. Yes He knows and He new it. But no everybody betray God, we are just a few who have done this.
Because we wanted to enjoy, we wanted to lord it over the material nature, therefore God has given us the facility to enjoy, and being small we become cover by evil.
So God has created this material world because we wanted it, so evil is only in this material world.
Yes there is temptation, but we are here already, what to do?. Have we learned the lesson? so lest all go back to Him.

Perfect love allows choice. The devil, Lucifer, made a choice. By His own command, which He adheres to, God allows free will. So, yes, He did as He did, with perfect love in mind. Man chose to rebel, but God gave man a way back to Him, that is the why for the sacrifice Jesus made at Calvary. Children can make the choice to obey instructions, if they choose to. Man can choose to obey God and stick tom it. God has His reasons for what He has done, and the way He chose to do it. Rather than ask the questions that you ask, why not accept what God did for us to give us a way to come back to Him. He doesn't really need us, but He chooses to want us.

God created the angels to give him glory. He created man to fellowship with him and also to give him glory. He gave man free will so that he could choose to worship him on his own volition.

He knew that Lucifer would rebel against him. That's the possibility that exists when creating beings with the ability to choose. God wouldn't be just if he had decided not to create him because he would rebel against him. As it was 1/3 of the angels in heaven fell with him.

The thing is, if you're asking because you don't believe in God, then why ask why a God that you don't believe exists did what he did? You're asking for rationale so that you can do what? Say that Christians are dumb? There's plenty of things you could point to to support that claim. Just look at human beings in general. Christians aren't intellectually superior to everyone else, they're not perfect, they're not all hypocrits. The thing that separates them from people who don't believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins is that they have faced their sin and know that they are forgiven. Those who don't face their sin want to stay in the dark, deceiving themselves with the lie that there is no such thing as sin, while continuing to do what they know is sin. So, if you're going to ask why God did what he did, the way to find out is to face your sin and be reconciled to him. Then you will know.

HaHaHa! Actually, since He doesn't exist, the humans needed an anti-God character who could give 'Him' a run for his money.. In the OT, there was just evil nature but the Christians decided to make it personal and made up the character 'Satan' (using the word for anti found in Job) and combined all of the 'evil' things in the OT together so they could blame it all on a character instead of the person.
BTW, what good is 'free will' if YHWH already knows the decision?

First, Satan is not an Angel, he is a Jinn. Angels are created from light, Jinn are created from fire. Angels do not sin, they only obey God's orders. Jinn, on the other hand, are like humans in the sense that they can choose between doing good or evil, so we will all be judged to determine if we are worthy of going to heaven.

Each one of us can determine their final destination, it's our choice. God has sent us many signs to guide us to the straight way.

God has a wise plan for his creations, and just because we may not fully understand it, it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

1st: He created a cherub that betrayed him-the devil, not an angel
2nd: He made man with free will and gave him a command to see if he would obey.
3rd: Yes, I would tempt my children to teach them correction
4th: That was his plan, for us to never meet evil, but he wanted cherubs, angels and mankind to worship Him and obey Him because we want to love him and want to serve Him. In order for that to happen, He had to give us a free choice and He knew the consequences of that would be: Some will and some won't. So He was willing to take the risk for those who would choose to follow Him.
