This is what I read at the grocery store. The price went up due to the fact that they're using the corn that we feed the chickens to make ethinol for gasoline.
Is there anyone else that see's just how nut's this is. So I guess instead of the japanese rice burners it's now American corn burners.

The price of eggs here in texas is 1.69 a dozen.i was told by a friend that works for a store that it is because of the cold weather,chickens just don't want to lay when it is so cold.

The prices have gone up where I live (Chicago area). I was never heard a reason.
