I think a way to make friends off the Internet, is by going into chat rooms. Or maybe even playing games on yahoo games. You never know who you might come across but just be careful cause it's hard to trust people at the same time. But other than that you can meet and make some great friends and be safe doing it.

Make yourself noticed. be out there. Find different people and tell them about yourself. Ask them about themselves too. You'll soon see if you and that person are alike.
