The terms mean the same thing and they have a specific meaning. Any who deny the full meaning of these terms are anti-Christ.

Anointed one? Close but not quite there. It is more than that.

The actual meaning is "Anointed descendant of David the King who sits upon the throne". All the kings were also Messiah. The prophesied Messenger Jesus was a Messiah as well by virtue of the fact that he was directly descended from David through the male line via his father Joseph.

Greek Christos and Hebrew Mashiach both mean "anointed" or "anointed one," a term used frequently in the Hebrew Bible to describe the King of Israel and used in the prophetic literature to describe a coming figure.
"The actual meaning is "Anointed descendant of David the King who sits upon the throne""
Wrong. True, some of the prophetic literature uses "Mashiach" with some of those attributes, but none of that is implicit in the language itself.
"All the kings were also Messiah."
Yes, but not all those who were called "Anointed" were kings. Even in the prophetic literature, there are Messiahs who are not kings.
"The prophesied Messenger Jesus was a Messiah as well by virtue of the fact that he was directly descended from David through the male line via his father Joseph."
No, that just made him a descendant of David, of which there were many. He was "Messiah" because he was both anointed and the fulfilment of messianic prophecies.

Christ is short for christos, or anointed. Capitalizing the C, as in Christ or Christos means "The Anointed" or "The Anointed One".
Messiah is a different term meaning religious savior sent from God.
They do not have the same meaning, although in current culture they are used as synonyms.
This is kind of like those stupid sermons where people start talking about the power in the name of "Jes-Us". That wasn't even his name, we don't know what Christ was called, although it was probably Yeshua or something near that. It is possible it was Jesus, but not probable.
You cannot understand the meaning of any of these things without the Holy Spirit. Jesus is Lord.

I deny that you know what they might really mean. I'm not quite sure about "Christ", but I do know that the word "messiah" means "warrior king". That is the ORIGINAL meaning. The modern meaning is NOT the same.
