It's just a muscle spasm. It can be from stress or lack of sleep. It's nothing to worry about. It'll go away. I once had my eye twitch on and off throughout the days for a month...no lie. It went away. It was weird.

there are a number of reasons, the most likely is caffiene. If you drink a ton you can develop muscle twitches. Switch to decaf before you start looking at neurological problems

It means a neve is being pinched. You can pat the area that is twitcing lightly, adjust your sitting position, squeeze your shoulders tightly together then release them this usually gets the pinched nerve unpinched.

If you are super stressed or just stressed period, you will develop these little twitches. I get them on my eyebrows and just above my knee. Happens when I am tired and stressed out!

Its normal!!

close ur eyes and add just a dab of alcohol on the q-tips and softly put in under ur eyebrow where it does that and wait for the alcohol to drya and be careful and dont put it in ur eye or else it will hurt like hell. a lady told me to do that and it worked..i have to idea why that happens thou. but it worked.

Sometimes it twitches when you're nervous or stressed.

it could be hereditary. do any of your relatives have that? two of my neighbors (father and son) have the same twitch.

Tourettes? Have you ever taken the anti-depressant Lexapro? That too could be a possibility.
