Make him a CD of your favorite songs. Get him a flower - my girlfriend when I was 16 did this for me and oddly I kind of liked it. Most guys really don't care about gifts though, they just enjoy being with their valentine and making her happy.
A simple card would even do the trick.

If you know his type music, a new CD if you have the money. You can print out or send an E-card with a nice written statement about how he makes you feel or that you love being with him. Nothing real big, since you have only been together for 3 months, you don't want to assume too much. If you stay together, by next Valentines, you will know him well enough to get something more to his taste.

When buying gifts, never buy anything that A) you know he will hate and B) When still living at home, that his parents will hate.
That are two tips to live by with BF shopping.
You can do the classic chocolate heart box, but every person wants to be unique.
You could get a big jar and fill it up with chocolate hearts. Close it off and place a ribbon on it and get a cute card and write 'Here's my hearts to you. Happy Valentine's Day! Love (enter name)'.
If he likes jokes, buy one of those stuffed animals that says "I'm Wild For You" (or something like that), place it in a bag with candy and give him a letter. He'll laugh at that.
You can always do the classic candy letter. You can write out a letter and where a type of candy be placed, put it on there. (WARNING: use something sturdy like cardboard or foam underneath. Poster board will fall over)
And example would be like : (means place THIS candy bar here)
Dear (sweethearts).
You are (Extra Gum) special to me. You are worth (100 Grand) and are so (Kissables). I (Orbit Gum) you like the Sun does the Earth in the (Milky Way). So my dear (Lifesavers) "break me off a piece of that (Kit Kat)" and take me on your white horse to (5h Avenue) and we will have (Mounds) of fun on this special day. (Hugs) and (Kisses) and my (heart-shaped candy) belongs to you.
Love,
Name
And I'm out of ideas. I hope this helps you!

discover out what he's getting you and get him some thing somewhat decrease priced or much less of a deal than that. men are meant to outdo the girls on 15 August 1945. i'm valuable he wont think of you do unlike him in case you do some thing like action picture tickets and loose popcorn or made him an elementary yet yummy dinner or offered him extremely some candy with a pictre of yall 2 in it. i does no longer do something that screams "i such as you" purely "you're very cool and that i prefer to get you some thing cool in return."

it depends, how close are you two? if you aren't extremely close and you think their is a chance you could break up then don't spend a lot of money. maybe only a rock CD or a box of chocolates. give that to him and see what he gives you, if he gives you something nice and you two are still going strong by the next holiday then get him something around the same price that he got you.
