You are coming from a standpoint that life is meaningless. When you find meaning you will feel differently. I'm sitting here holding my 2 month old daughter and feel very differently than you.
Yes, being human is a challenge. Life is a challenge.
LIFE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE EASY.
Once you find God you will see a different world

They only torture you if you let them. There are worse things than not knowing. Imagine all the things that people will know 2000 years from now of which we currently have not even the slightest notion. They'll still have unanswered questions.
It is not the distraction that counts. It's the acceptance of ignorance. Take a breath. Feel the air rush down your trachea and into your lungs. Keep doing that, only noticing that for a half-hour. If another thought enters your head, gently acknowledge its presence, and go back to noticing the air as it flows. That's mindfulness meditation, and it can help clear your mind of irrelevant thoughts. Be assured that your condition is shared by everyone, and most of us relish being human.

then spend most of our lives getting tortured?
unanswerable questions?
the torment eventually returns 100X?
not family and friends, not drugs, not advice, nothing can stop it?
those, my friend are all signs of a life without God.
ok, you have tried it without God.
hasn't worked, has it?
don't you think it is time to let God in?
you will be absolutely amazed how things in your life will slowly change for the better.
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

But when you get to hell, you will then realize that this life wasn't so bad after all. Only problem is, when you get there, you will find out there is no second chance of getting out. Now the question is, do you really want to find out the hard way or the easy way?
"IF" you really are looking for answers, start reading from a King James Bible from John 1:1 and let God answer your questions for you. Just remember he doesn't always answer questions in the way you expect Him to.

There is nothing worse than being born human, and there is nothing better than being born human.
Born in the image of God. The image is broken_ He came to fix it. If only we are willing to accept His fixedness.

You could be a insect and have a very short life span, even shorter if you come in contact with a human with a shoe!

Yes, there is something worse than being born human, and that is being born a stubborn, hard hearted, close minded human.
