Since God is so far above us I doubt that anyone can explain it accurately, but the best I can do is like this.
Mind
Body
Spirit
God
Jesus
Holy Spirit

There are differing views of the trinity. About the only thing the everyone agrees on is that the trinity is composed of the God, the Father; His son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost.
Many try to make this incomprehensible arguement that all three are actually the same being. Which arguement is not at all supported in the Bible.
In reality, they are three seperate beings as evidenced when Jesus was baptized. Jesus was standing in the river Jordan next to John the Baptist. A voice from heaven was heard declaring that Jesus was His son. The Holy Ghost was seen descending down upon Jesus as dove. It was either an incredible magic act put on for all the people getting baptized that day, or they are all actually three seperate beings.
Additionally, when Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane, he was praying. Was he praying to himself or was he praying to someone else whom he address as God? My suspician is that he was talking to someone else, not to himself.
Finally, when Stephen was martyred, it says that he was full of the Holy Ghost. Being full of the Holy Ghost, he say Jesus Christ standing at the right hand of God. Again, all three were present but each doing something different from the other.
I'm sorry, but I do not believe in a schizophrenic god. I believe in God who is our father because he created our spirits. I believe in Jesus Christ, the literal Son of God who sacrificed himself so that we might all gain forgiveness of our sins. I believe in the Holy Ghost who testifies of all truth so that we are not left doubting but can know the truth of all things.

No, I don't think I can fully explain God the Father, God the Son and God the holy spirit. However, the best example of it I have seen is water, H20. It can be solid, steam, or liquid, and yet in each manifestation, it contains exactly the same properties. That's as close an explanation of the Godhead I can come up with.

It's a marriage. When a man and
a woman get married they become
one flesh. The Trinity is a Spiritual
marriage. Three Spirits become one.

The Trinity. Father, son, and holy spirit. First there is God, the father, the maker of all. Then the son, Jesus, who is the word of God. Then the holy spirit, which is the divine inspiration that comes from God.

I will use water for an example. The water is God. It is also Jesus (in the form of ice) and the Holy Spirit (in the form of steam). All are three seperate forms, but are made up of the same thing. As water can be 3 forms God is three in one. Not three Gods. But one God.

It's simple.
How many of us, from time to time, wished we could be in several places at once, or wished we could clone ourselves, so we could actually accomplish all that we have to do?
God actually has the power to do such a thing ... so he did.

It is a false pagan belief that was enforced by Constantine at the council of Nicea. Many Christians were put to death for not accepting it.
