Yesterday my doctor told me that I am having Hepatitis B antibody in my blood, he said it means you got the virus and your body fight it. He disqualifies me from donating blood.
The question is:
What is the probability for the virus to start active again?
Doctor told me you don't have any problem now, if so, why he disqualifies me from donating blood???

You were disqualified for donation as you may pass the virus to the recipient of your blood. That person may develop an active infection. You should refrain from donating blood forever. Additionally, Hepatitis B can be transmitted during sex. You should inform your partner and use protection (condoms). Reports of transmission between health care workers and patients are rare but not impossible. Likewise between close family members.
Hepatitis B may be dormant for the rest of your life. Your body may be able to fight the active disease. BUT, 5% of all infected adults and 50% of immunocompromised (sick, frail) people may develop a chronic infection. This may lead to liver damage (cirrhosis) and complications thereof.
Persons with a previous history of Hepatitis, like you, should inform their physician and have periodic lab work to follow liver function. You will be unaware of active infection until significant damage results.
