The clergy have built up a patina of interpretation around the prophecies so that nobody who believes the clergy will be waiting for Jesus on his return.

He has already returned and if you haven't heard yet you haven't rejected him. Check out this link so that you can see the evidence for yourself: http://www.bupc.org

The clouds that he will return on are the clouds of the mythologies of all but one of the existing religions. They won't be actual physical clouds. He is foretold by name, date, address and mission in the bible

The son of perdition who has been revealed is the anti-Christ. The anti-Christ is the one who doesn't accept the meaning of Christ. What is the actual meaning of Christ/Messiah?

Messiah/Christ: anointed descendant of David the King who sits upon the throne.

That is one of my prayers, that I will not miss him and also that I will not lose my faith waiting. I think it is a very real possibilty. The religious leaders missed him the first time and they were so threatened by him they had him killed.

Apostal Paul told the thessalonians about the return of Christ they were very afraid they would not be ready. Paul said that Christ would not return until the Son of Perdition be revealed. Now does anyone know the clues to look for in knowing who the Son of perdition is?

No one knows when he is going to return. I may not be alive. If I am not, when he does, then my body will rise from the dead. If I am alive, I will just simply disappear as I will rise to meet him. The Bible says he will return. I Believe. No matter what you say, my belief will stay with me. When I believe, I have already accepted him and my body will rise to meet him the instant he arrives, if I am alive when he comes. I believe he died on the cross for my sins. Don't you? It is wonderful to know that I will go to Heaven and not have a shadow of a doubt about that. I have enough to worry about here on Earth. I should give more of my worries to God than I do. Then I would be less worry some.

It is OK for what you believe. This is America and we have the right to choose the freedom of religion. I have my right too.

Those ready with oil in their lamps (anointing oil/ Holy Spirit filled) will be raptured.

When Jesus appears, every eye will see Him, even those there that pierced Him at the cross. People who have rejected Him will moan.

Jesus will return out of the clouds in the Heavens. It wont matter what people think of him. It will be the end and it will be too late.

I believe Jesus will return just as He said He would. It is not about what "I think" it is about what He said. I will never reject Jesus Christ - how can I "reject" my own breath? He is the very breath and lover of my soul - how could I ever reject that?

i dont think it matters what any body has built up .. when he returns.. it willbe. what is it..
according to revelations.. riding on a cloud.. and all the world will become silent, and stop and see.. thats all you need to know.. he will return.. revelations tells you all about it. if you know the word. you khow,.., there is.. no way you think he should.. there is the way he has told you .. he will ..
the question should be.. will he reject you. .will you be wher youneed to be when he returns, how he said he will .. ?
it doesnt take a theoligion to figure that one out

"the clergy". Who are you talking about? I read the bible. Jesus said He was the good shepherd, and His sheep know His voice. I have no doubt that when He returns, in whatever way He does, I will know Him.

no!
why would Jesus Christ, God, be required to do anything when I think He should?
or when you think He should.
you evidently have forgotten who the Creator is and who the created are.
