the vatican still condemns the use of preservatives?
i know it will go against their philosophy to say:" It is ok use condoms", but why dont they just shut up? People die because of that, what is more important to the vatican, their ideas towards sex or the lives of people?
Why is it so easy to talk about charity but so difficult to act charitably???

The vatican doesn't promote contraception that kills people; they promote abstinence until marriage.

Next time give all the facts.

Just because a bunch of people want to screw themselves to death, the church is not obligated in any way to support or condone it.

REALITY: In typical 3rd world countries, due to poor quality product, improper storage, and improper use, condoms fail over 50% of the time.

All that does is lead to more death and disease.

In Uganda, where the Catholic Church has actively promoted chastity, marital fidelity, and sexual abstinence for the unmarried, new aids cases have decreased by over 30%.

Evidently, not all people are mindless sex machines who lack any type of self control.

Why is it so easy to make sweeping generalizations about something you know nothing about?

The Catholic Church knows that those that will agree will do what is asked and that those that do not agree will not but, they are still obligated to put the truth out there and not be like most of the other denominations that have caved in to the pressure and have gone for homosexual preachers and women lesbian bishops and ok.'d abortions and gay marriage and every other goofball thing there is. Just because someone does not choose to believe something doesn't make it not true. The Truth does not depend upon belief to make it true.

And we wonder why people in Africa are turning away from Catholism and turning back to witchcraft and their original religions...?

It's easier to talk it than to walk it.
These people (not the Africans, the Catholics and missionaries in Africa) would rather push their morals than common sense and education.

I would rather you not die of a horrible disease than to join my religious club. Sorry, it's how I feel. I wonder how far we could've gotten today if sex wasn't a huge taboo like it is...

roman catholics are old-world and their way of doing things has never changed. roman catholics are not supposed to fornicate without being in a marriage, anyway, and are to use natural birth control methods, such as calculating the time of ovulation. they are really not supposed to have intercourse unless trying to concieve, but that is another thing sometimes unavoidable. have you ever seen a catholic family that uses those methods? they have 7 kids and the woman is either pregnant or just gave birth.

It just shows how behind the times the Vatican is on issues prevalent today.

Don't even get me started on the Vatican.
Another question would be: whats more important, the safety of young children, or their non-biblical belief that their priests should remain celebate and not marry??

i think it does! even if it incredibly is the guy eating the coffee that's in charge for all the above, no longer the coffee itself. even if asking somebody in the event that they desire to return up for some Horlicks or Ovaltine would not particularly have the comparable ring!!
