No. This doesnt make you a "racist". Everyone on here knows that Yahoo is a left-wing liberal service that makes people believe that there is still "1st Amendment rights". Nothing could be further from the truth. The whiny-butt liberals that visit this site, many of whom are hispanics with access to the internet, simply boo-hoo to Yahoo about something that was reported on CNN or FOX news and , rather than face a lawsuit from LULAC, La Raza ACLU or NAACP, they will censor anything that even smacks of a different opinion. In otherwords, if you're not in complete agreement with the pro-illegal mantra, you are targeted for TOS violation. For example, I found 4 comments from what I suspect were 4 hispanic individuals, saying in effect, that they would kill President Bush if they could get away with it. I reported those to Yahoo as terrorism threats. That was 3 days ago. They are still here, as of tonight, Feb 10, 2007. Those individuals, as ive found, are still on this site, commenting, answering questions, and generally being annoying. Yet, a white person like yourself asks a simple question as to whether you are racist or not, and you get a TOS violation. Yahoo is almost, but not quite, as bad as AOL, another lefty anti-free speech network. I havent been on here very long, but from what ive seen, this is a p*** poor excuse for a free speech forum. Makes one decide not to even waste good time here.

No. You already know that you are not a racist. I don't think anyone has to convince you of that. Let's face it some of us antis do get carried away in reactions to racist labeling. I can see customer support removing a thread, that has many offensive posts instead of just deleting one or two. It probably wasn't your question, but some of the 47 answers, because I don't find your question offensive.

Alot of questions are race-baited by the pro side. The antis usually take the bait and react. I know you are tired of defending your stance on race, so am I. We shouldn't be on the defensive anyway, since we are the ones who respect the laws of our country. That's how these debates should be handled, by always putting the pro side on the defensive, instead of allowing it to be the other way around and dealing with deletions.

Why do you keep asking the same question over and over. You can call it what ever you want racist or not .It does not make a difference to me. The fact still remains the same.Only white Americans do not want illegals in the USA. Iam Mexican-American they do not bother me in any way.
By the way scarlettt, only white Americans have given me a bad name.Illegals had nothing to do with it . It started over 80 years ago .By the way do not give me your crap of why I should be anti-illegal.

No!
It's not racists. All rapists belong in jail. All murders belong in jail or facing capital punishment. Everyone speeding in a car should be fined. All illegals should be deported. Laws and regulations, the exist to protect America and Americans!

You see the race card getting readily thrown, here, and here's the deal: Billions are at stake, on dealing with illegal immigration, the state of Texas has already admitted having boosted their state economy by about 17 billion or so dollars due to turning a blind eye to illegal immigration. It's all about the money, and it may be that we're at the point of no return in terms of effective enforcement etc.

If illegal immigration were not beneficial in business and economic terms, it wouldn't be happening. That's it, in a nutshell...

It depends on how you portray your message, if you're always trying to make all illegals look bad, or you call them racial slurs, then yes, you are a racist. However, if you were to state a logical reason why you are against illegal immigration with no bad talk about specific immigrant groups, then you would not be a racist.

Of course you're not racist. I'm not racist, but I hate illegal immigration. What you are is a person who can see how illegal immigration is ruining this country. You and me both are patriots, not racists.

Unfortunately, US in years past was the "place of opportunity" or the "melting pot". This name for the US lives on. I don't have a problem with people coming from other countries to benefit from what our "richly blessed" country has to offer. However, when they get here, they had better go through the steps of becoming legal citizens as soon as they come. If I were to immigrate to another country, I would be expected to learn their culture and speak their language and become a legal citizen. Yet, when we expect those coming into our country to do the same, we are being called racists. Hmmmm, this doesn't seem fair.

Absolutely not!! Key word here is "Illegal". These people should not be here unless they come legally. If you are specifically talking about those from Mexico (which I am guessing make up the majority..key word there is "guessing") read up on Mexico's immigration laws which are much more strict than ours. If you were in their country illegally (again key word) they would round you up and deport you. So no, you are not a racist for this belief. As for any other beliefs that may make you a racist, I cannot comment on.

It doesn't make you racist if you reasoning has to do with having respect for the law and wanting to take some of the drain off our welfare system. However if you're more concerned about spanosh speaking individuals in your neighborhood, property values plummeting and keeping the Aryan nation pure then yes you are racist. Only you know why you're against illegal immigration. Simply stating your side doesn't really say much, defending your side does.
