"whether we become acquaintances, friends or whatever, i won't regret anything", what does the whatever mean? she has said in the past there is a possibility but has seemed unsure lately

i think she is letting u know she is keeping the door open for something romantic/relationship to happen, but maybe she is unsure of your thoughts/intentions. she is telling u to take the lead on this. if you don't act on it, like ask her out now, she'll probalby get disappointed and pull away from you

To me it seems like the whatever is the alternative to acquaintances or friends, which would be something more, like a relationship. I can say that if I said this to a guy, it would mean that I held him in high regard and that no matter what I would value whatever kind of relationship we had. Sometimes, when I really care about someone, I may date them and things may not work out, but I want to keep them in my life. As for her latest uncertainty, give her time and space.

Shes just open minded, with whatever happen or will happen to your "relationship". Its a good thing because she wont regret anything, whatever comes in your relationship.

it means she really apprciates your relationship friends or not. she appreciates you and is happy for u to be in her life even just as a friend. and if you guys do get together and it doesnt work out. she wont regret taht you guys took that chance of being together.
