I was 11 or 12 when I got my first and last perm! I like to be able to wear my hair straight more often, so when my perm grew out I decided to not get another one!!

i was 14 when i got my first relaxer. and the thing is that i was pretty disapointed because i got the same results that i usally get without the relaxer. but here i am 2 years later all natural. i love my new black curly soft hair. i will never do anything bad to my hair again.

4. my mom thought it was cute. so i had it done once every six months from kindergarten to 5th grade. and one time, she took it upon herself to do it herself. man, it was everywhere: up my nose, in my mouth, everywhere. needless to say, my hair ended up NOT permed that day. and after 5th grade i said i was never going to do it again.

I was 11, and I got it without my mom knowing, since she wouldn't allow me.
At first she freaked, but then she liked it and went to get one herself. lol
