Im 13 and never had a boyfriend well i want one and theres a dance coming up and i want to ask this one guy but im SCARED! he will probably laugh and tell everyone! i usually dont see him i only have 1 class wit him HELP wat should i do! also guys wat would u do?

I understand how this goes. I'm a guy and was terrified to ask a girl out, because the thought of being rejected was so hard to take.
See if you can talk to him about school or something, then move the discussion to the dance. Find out if he's interested in going -- maybe his family will be visiting grandma that day and he can't go to the dance. If he does says that he might go to the dance, you can:
1. Ask him and hope for the best.
2. Tell him you'll look for him there and maybe you can dance together.
If he sounds hopeful about number 2, you can leave it at that or you can then ask if he would like to go with you to the dance. Remember that if you ask (or if he asks you), that means that you will have to spend most of your time at the dance together. That's what asking someone to a dance means.
If you just tell him that you will look for him there, then you can spend more time with your friends and checking out the other people. If you like your time with this guy, then you can spend more time with him. However, you won't be committed to stay with him for the dance.
