What action did you take to resolve the matter? Did you write off the person as dangerous, unbalanced - or would you condsider trying again to reach them?
Did you consider praying for the fanatic to find balance again and rejoin his/her community?
Were you able to reagain your balance/center afterward?
Please give examples so I can try and regain my faith in others, even with embarrassing people that irritate me, as I enjoy being moderate - and not out of control myself! Thank you.

I don't know that this is the right answer but, after my experience with a personality of this type... I was verbally assualted after expressing simply that I am Catholic...(Not all of us think 100%alike thank you) subsequently I was given all the reasons MY version of the Bible made no sense. In situations as these it is important to remember to be understanding and forgiving. I was not given an oppurtunity to rebut. I engaged in prayer that this person mght gain understanding. The next day..btw this was @work.. the person quit. Within a week of quiting that person was at my desk offering a gift and making small talk.

Obviously she was gowing through something that was hard on her.

The point I guess is to never stop forgiving.
And dont screw with crazy people. lol.

Moderates give credibility to the extremists.

If a moderate believes in god, they essentially believe in a magical being that has no proof of existence.

If a fundamentalist believes in god, they believe a whole lot of specific topics are covered by magic and such.

Both people believe in magic. (Though christians abhor this word, thats what the supernatural is)

Both people's magic is unproven. Not one shred of evidence exists.

Which person's magic is more believable?

It doesn't matter. It is just that the moderate seems less kooky, but that doesn't change the FACT that they are not grounded in reality, thus they lend credibility to the nuts.

i'd truthfully say that those following indications are/would be fearful of passionate people ... maximum cancers - they're specifically approximately tenderness & comforting. somebody who's too passionate would desire to rattle their cage somewhat, so you might chat. Sagittarius - they love their freedom ! If something threatens (or perhaps starts to threaten) that freedom, they're certain to bail. they prefer their occasional area. Aquarius - too indifferent ! A passionate guy or woman would make 'em hyperventilate too plenty !!! they're going to initiate feeling claustrophobic. They hate being trapped. HATE IT !!! in fact, permit me purely placed it this manner, somebody who's very passionate with a indifferent Aquarius ... that is purely no longer gonna paintings. ordinary & ordinary. of path, those issues do no longer constantly persist with, based on the guy's natal chart. There would desire to be contradicting components that would "cancel out" (despite if in basic terms somewhat) being fearful of a passionate guy or woman. as an occasion, a Sagittarius with extremely some Aries, Taurus, Leo, &/or Scorpio, besides as extremely some components to Mars (so some distance as planets circulate), interior any of those indications (quite Mars &/or Moon in the two Aries or Scorpio; truly valuable !). The Mars/Moon conjunction for that reason implies a twisted style of hobby (bordering on sinister !).

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage the change the things I cannot accept,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Add the name of the deity of your choice to the beginning of this prayer (if desired), and make this your mantra.

Know that it is not within your power to change other people, or to change their minds. Be the best person you can be, and know that that is sufficient. Lead by example.

Be the change you want to see in the world. -Gandhi

Cling to the positive promises in the bible !!!

According to the bible if it is a brother in the faith take him a gift and confront him genitally. If he is not a brother in the faith. Tell him that you don't like his behavior because he is crossing your boundries. Tell him it would not be a pleasure for you to call the police but you would !!!

You give no context for your question, but in general, don't confront people.

Leave them alone.

Never argue with crazy people.

You can't force people to remake themselves to be what you feel you need them to be -- let it go.

Moderate?

Jesus was very clear.

"If you do not forgive others, your father in Heaven will not forgive you".

My opinion: Forgive them, do not hold a grudge, do not seek revenge. However, if they are repulsive, avoid them.
