If the bible says homosexuality is wrong, why does God make gay people?

He doesn't. Anymore than God makes a murderer, an adulterer, a liar, an idolater. We are born with a sin nature and it will go in different ways and manifest itself differently. That is why we need a savior. No one but Jesus will ever be without sin.

This is like saying Why does God make murders or handicapped people or people that like to do cruel things to small animals,or child predators. Answer"God didn't make that person Gay" Satan is in charge of the world today and when Jesus returns He will take Back what was rightfully his.Satan took the world with the first tempting in the garden of Eden and has laid claim on it since.He even tempted Jesus and said he would give it all back if Jesus would bow down before him, But Jesus knows that he will get it back anyway when he returns.He hasn't returned yet so Satan corrupts the world and the people in it. That's a good, question, and I don't think anyone really knows the answer to why homosexuality exists. I guess you just have to trust that God knows what he is doing.

But to answer the first part of your question, It is mentioned specifically in Leviticus, 1 Corinthians, and 1 Timothy, as being a sin of the same nature as adultery. Though this is always open to interpretation.

The bible in general condemns *any* kind of overt sexual behavior other than marriage as being dangerous and immoral, and there is nothing extra special about homosexuality. But the only one who can really tell you if it is right or wrong, is God himself, if you ask him. You don't always have to trust what was written thousands of years ago.

God gives weaknesses to people, not to punish them, but so that they can learn from them. This is the same reason that god allows satan to tempt us, so that we can learn to deal with adversity, as Job. Having weaknesses is not a sin, but sin is allowing them to make us go against what we believe to be true.

First you have to accept the bible as infallible. It does not mention homosexuality, but does briefly mention sodomy. However, keep in mind that the whole god thing is a big myth anyway and don't worry about it. You are not sinning if sin is a religious value. Morals are human values, do what you believe is morally right and that you can conscienciously live with. If you enjoy being gay, enjoy your life. Since there is no afterlife or heaven or hell. make the best of your time here before you return to dust.

God created man and woman.Designed them to complement each other.God instigated the marriage arrangement.He instructed Adam and Eve to be fruitful and fill the earth with offspring.This is God's arrangement for humans.This is how he designed them to live.
It is incorrect to say that God condemns homosexuality yet 'He made gay people".
God did not create angels with a desire for sexual relations with humans.Yet Satan evidently was able to get some of them to think improperly about such matters.These angelic sons of God cultivated a desire,and did a wicked thing,by leaving their positions in heaven to come to earth to marry women(Gen.6:2).Such action was motivated by a wrongly cultivated desire,not a natural desire put in them by God.
We know what happened to the cities of Sodom and Gommorah.However,today we live in a society that has sunk to greater depths of immortality and people's attitudes have been molded to accept homosexuality as being normal,even proper.
But God's view has never changed.In Romans 1:26-28,homosexuality is not only called,"disgraceful","obscene",and "not fitting",but also "contrary to nature".
It is not according to God's plan for humankind to have sexual relations with ones of the same sex.It is not of any benefit to the individual.
So we cannot blame God because mankind has drifted so far away from his moral and upright standards and the counsel he provides for all of us in his Holy Word,the Bible.

Well I guess if you believe that gay people are born that way, you have a small problem there. Kind of like the whole issue of evil. Why does God allow evil in the world? Tornados tear peoples homes up and take lives. Hurricanes etc.

The Bible says homosexuality is an abomination. It does not say that it is wrong. And the Bible was written by men not God and not by Jesus. Men who had opinions, biases, and prejudices. They took His teachings and put their 2 cents in with it also. You singled out homosexuals. What about deformed people or retarded people or midgets, or two headed animals and so on and so on. It is the way it is period and His will should not be questioned.

Well, under that logic, we could also ask "If the Bible says murder is wrong, why does God make murderers?"

I'm not comparing homosexuality to murder. But I'm just following your logic -- which seems to be "nothing can be wrong, because God created people who do these things."

Besides, "God made gay people" implies that homosexuality is inborn and natural -- but there's no proof that either is the case.
