Okay, this year I am falling apart and just have to admit it. I still have alot of dental work that needs to be done but not sure what way would be best. I have had problems with the dentist pulling my teeth but that really isn't his fault (infected teeth) and so I may go back. His office has an oral surgeon that does the iv sedation. Should I fork out the money for that and have the dentist pull my bottom wisdom tooth and fix things on one side of my mouth, then go back the mext month and do the same thing on the other side? I have one wisdom tooth left that is decaying (not sure if that is the source of the infection or not) and feel that it will probably be the next one to give me problems. Have you had iv sedation before and what is it like? I also have alot of problem with bleeding and bruising lately when I get a tooth pulled. Should I have stopped bleeding before I leave the office? Any advise would be helpful.

Also, should I just go to an oral surgeon at a hospital and get everything done at one and pay payments to the hospital? I am on a very very limited budget but at 175-250 a tooth, I cannot afford another paid in full procedure (like my dentist requires)

I would personally just have teeth removed with Novocaine. It won't hurt. I think the anesthesia is far worse than the extraction. I had a completely impacted in the bone, sideways, infected wisdom tooth removed a few months ago with just Novocaine. No problems at all.

you could see online about CareCredit and if you qualify for that and if your dentist accepts that.....it will let you make payments for all your dental work at one place..
If you went to the hospital to have it all done, then you'll have a hospital bill plus the dental bill both and not just one in the office.
I would find a dentis or peridontal dentist if you have major work to be done and ask about if major work has to be done do they have plans for payments to have it done.
Most bleeding from a tooth being pulled won't be stopped before leaving the office...you will have to have gauze in your mouth covering the area to bite down on for a while.
Most will only do work on one side at a time, or have in my experience at least
I have just gone to a peridontal dentist and am having some work done and its all to be on CareCredit..it will be on a payment plan and done in more than one visit also. Same thing with my braces was done by payments over a 2 year period.
