Start eating saltine crackers first. This helps your stomach alot. Start small, eat a bowl of soup.. chicken noodle highly recommended for the broth, or tomato soup would be good to. Don't go straight to heavy spicy food. Just stay with some bland foods for awhile and work your way from there. Toast also helps and you can put some jelly or cream cheese on that. goodluck and hope all is better now

a thin soup, like Campbells chicken and noodle, for nutrients and crackers or chips for salt. Drink water and non acidic fruit juice. As much as you know you're probably going to puke it all out, you have to force the issue on your system until it will take food. If you're suffering from food poisoning, you do really need to get to the doctor asap. The fact that you're hungry is a very good sign, but take it easy.

You need the BRAT diet. Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast. Steer clear for meat and dairy for a day or two as it will be too hard on your tummy. I am sorry that you feel terrible, my husband and son just had that crud a couple of weeks ago. One other note, stomach viruses can continue to be contagious up to 2 weeks after you have symptoms so it is very important to wash your hands and not share food to protect those around you.

The best is saltine crackers.
Start with that. It you feel fine after an hour try applesauce, jello,
mashed potatoes, or vanilla pudding. These are all soft and easy to digest. Dont start with a huge meal and make sure you eat slow and dont have fluids with your meal. But remember you do need water as you may be dehydrated. Take water 1/2 after eatting and make sure you drink at least 2-3 glasses over a two hour period. You have to replace the fluids.

Get bulk peppermint from the health food store and make a tea. Keep sipping it until your stomach feels settled. You will be back to normal in no time. Eat anything that you want. Just avoid what you ate before you got sick

bland food. saltiens, toast. Try very soft food, like sugar free jello, applesauce, maybe pudding. Go slowly, and sip water. Then move onto scrambled eggs, soup. Good luck.

Prime Rib and a beer. When I had the flu I puked no matter what I ate. I was puking when I ate nothing at all, heaving all night.

Since it feels better to puke up some food then puking up nothing I ate.

Since I was going to puke no matter what it was I ate Prime Rib and had a few beers.

Of course I puked it up but it was tasty.

Just stick to fuids as long as your body is hydrated you should be fine. Your body can go 3-4 days without food, as long as you drink alot. Stick to water, gingerale, and more water. Try not to drink things that are too sugary, it could make you more sick.
